Thermal Foam Insulation

proudly uses Tripolymer a Foam-in-Place non-expanding foam. Tripolymer is a highly efficient, economical thermal and acoustical Foam-in-Place insulation. It's unique makeup provides for fire resistant characteristics of phenolic polymer as a CLASS 1 building material that will upgrade a walls fire rating. It contains no CFCs and is often specified for schools, hospitals, medical centers and shopping centers. Tripolymer will not emit hazardous gasses when exposed to heat or fire. It will not support combustion and will not ignite or drip in fire conditions.

What is it?

Tripolymer Foam-in-Place insulation consists of 2 parts, a resin (A Component) and a catalyst B Component) that when mixed together will go through a chemical process to solidify. Tripolymer has a cured density of 0.8 to 1.3 lbs. per cubic foot. It has a compressive strength of 35 psi. The fire characteristics as determined by ASTM E-84 test show that it has a flame spread of only 5.0, smoke 0.0 and fuel 0.0. It has an R-value of 4.8 per inch at a temperature of 72 degrees. The R-value will increase to 5.0 at colder temperatures of 32 degrees.

What we do!

Thermal Foam Insulation will inject tripolymer into existing wall cavities and concrete block hollow cores. This will greatly increase in thermal resistance and reduce the sound transmission of the component being injected. Tripolymer is great for retro insulating existing older homes, insulating concrete block walls, insulating between a brick veneer and masonry wall and those hard to get to places. Thermal Foam will drill holes in the component being insulated or sound deadened. The Tripolymer is injected into those holes. The Thermal foam will seal the holes. An existing wall may be injected from either the inside or the outside. If on the inside the building owner will have to repair and paint the existing patched hole to match the original component.

Remember you insulate once, but you heat and cool continuously.
